Going on a family vacation is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable for everyone, right? Have you ever started planning a trip and then realized that you have to travel with a stroller? We understand the fear and dread that traveling with a stroller brings. You either have to move that stroller through an airport or getting it disassembled and packed into the carrying case that it never wants to fit inside.

To complicate things even more, Disney has recently changed their rules on the size limits of strollers. You may want to make sure to read the General Walt Disney World Property Rules and pay specific attention to the stroller and wagon specifications in the “Prohibited Items” section.

Renting a stroller in the Orlando area

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to make getting to and from Orlando easier with a stroller? Well, we are here to tell you that there is a better way…….renting a stroller. Disney, of course, will rent you a stroller while you are in the park. That is convenient but only inside the park and it might not be the most cost effective.

There are actually stroller rental companies all over Orlando. These rental companies will actually bring your stroller to many hotels in the Orlando area or the Orlando International Airport so it is waiting for your arrival. They even pick them up at the end of your trip making this a hassle-free experience. One company that we have very happily used in the past is called Orlando Stroller Rentals.

Finding a reputable stroller rental company

As with anything, there are many choices when you rent strollers. We would suggest that you look for a company that has good pricing (of course), delivers the stroller to you and you feel comfortable with. Many of these rental companies are Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited and they may have other recommendations.

Depending on your airline, you might save a good portion of the rental fee on not having to check an extra bag.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to a Disney park and that this tip may make your trip a little more magical.
